Would you like to improve your photography skills to take amazing photos & videos of your products and business activities?
Would you like to increase your online presence through Social Media?
Do you have a Marketing / Social Media strategy to maximise sales?
Connect Local, the Scottish Government’s Local Food and Drink Marketing Advisory Service, working in conjunction with Perthshire Food Tourism Group, is delighted to offer this practical food photography and social media workshop.
The workshop will cover a theory-based photography session, before delegates will get the opportunity to take photographs of their own products using their own equipment in a practical hands-on environment. This will be followed by an advanced social media session on how to maximise online presence, customer reach, and ultimately maximise sales through social media and e-commerce.
The food photography session will be delivered by Caroline Trotter, a highly regarded food photographer with over 10 years of experience in the hotel & restaurant trade, after gaining an HND at Oxford Brookes University in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management. Check out some of Caroline’s commercial work here.
The social media session will be delivered by Kerry Allison, Senior Food & Drink Consultant at SAC Consulting, also a delivery partner in the Connect Local team. Kerry has over 15 years of experience in the Food Service and Production Industries. Immediately prior to joining SAC Consulting, Kerry was in a senior marketing role, as Global Brand and Marketing Manager, for a highly successful and entrepreneurial Scottish Craft Brewery – BrewDog PLC.
